About Thad Reece
Thad Reece has been in the ministry for over 35 years. He has pastored Parkside Community Church: The Lighthouse in San Francisco, California for 10 years. He is also a youth pastor at the Believers Church in Porterville, California where he serves his pastor, Sonjia Braun. Thad records a daily teaching on his facebook page called “Kingdom TRuths” that ministers to hundreds of people around the world. Thad’s wife, Karen, is the worship leader at TouchPoint christian center in Porterville, CA. their one and only son, William, is a full time student at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Thad is the president of Thad Reece Ministries, as well as the Senior Pastor of Parkside Community Church.
Thad was raised in Porterville, California loving sports. he received a baseball scholarship from the University of Hawaii in 1977, where he went to play 4 years of collegiate baseball. He graduated with a BA in Communications. Thad accepted JESUS CHRIST as His Lord and Savior during his junior year of college at the age of 21. Thad played 10 years of professional baseball with the Oakland A’s and Kansas City Royals organizations and ended his baseball career with 3 years in Italy. In 1984, he established “Baseball Ministries” where he asked professional baseball players to share their faith with fans through cassette tapes. In the early 90’s he was licensed, ordained, and placed in full time ministry by his pastors, Dave and Sonjia Braun. In 2010 the Spirit of God led him to San Francisco. Thad calls it a “total Abraham experience. One faith step after another.” He is now blessed with an incredible congregation in the heart of San Francisco.
Today, Thad has a desire to teach people on the End Times. He is on a mission to “prepare the way for the day.” He plans to publish his first book on the End Times in 2021.
Thad Reece is known for his simple, clear teaching of God’s Word. His teaching is bold and strong; allowing the gifts of the Spirit to flow as God wills. In this end-time era, Thad Reece continues to emphasize moving with the Word and the Spirit.
